Support

Supporting the development of interpretive infrastructure, Indigenous geography education, and contextual public understanding across North America.

The work of the Sovereign Routes Foundation is made possible through the support of individuals, institutions, foundations, organizations, educators, researchers, and community partners committed to strengthening contextual understanding and responsible interpretation of Native American history.

Support helps expand the Foundation’s ability to develop interpretive frameworks, strengthen institutional collaboration, support educational and public history initiatives, and advance understanding of Indigenous North America as an interconnected continental system.

Our work is informed by the Foundation’s broader interpretive architecture known as the Anatomy of Indigenous North America, which examines how Indigenous societies across what is now Canada, the United States, and Mexico participated within layered systems of movement, exchange, diplomacy, ecology, ceremony, and communication long before modern borders existed.
